| Job Description : | Reports to; Operations Director Primary Objectives & Functions Responsible for the management, control and monitoring of all projects under any extant LOA programme, throughout all stages of the project lifecycle from design through to implementation, customer acceptance and technical transfer into operational use. Responsible to the Operations Director for fulfilling the contractual responsibilities of our Client as covered by the terms and conditions of the Contract. Responsible for the professional conduct of all our Clients personnel in the Project Team. Responsible for ensuring the successful completion of the LOA programme in relation to performance, cost and delivery timescale. To deputise for the Operations Director as requested at meetings and during periods of absence from Saudi Arabia. Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities To provide an overall system design engineering focus to support other elements of the Project, Managed Services and New Business Teams, to ensure the successful delivery of the programme elements, in line with the customer’s key success criteria, namely delivery to specified performance, time, cost and quality. A full understanding of the customer requirements. To manage the customer expectations by reflecting them in a clear technical specification baseline, that is consistent with ensuring the integrity of the Customers Network. A discipline approach to ensure effective technical/engineering planning and control. Ensure the appropriate risks to the SDA function are defined, acted upon, maintained and reported against. Act decisively and communicate effectively. The day-to-day management of the Engineering Team to fulfill the Programme objectives. Regular reviews with all Project, New Business and managed Services team elements, supporting functional staff and senior staff on technical and engineering progress of each project. |
| Desired Qualifications : | Knowledge & Experience Essential Relevant communications/networks first Degree with appropriate experience. Up-to-date technical knowledge with data networks and have a broad knowledge of International Standards as they apply to system/equipment interfaces. Practical knowledge of networks, network managements, traffic engineering and Quality of Service. Must be a team leader capable of delivering results with strong problem solving skills, energy and initiative. Proven flexible approach t working in a pressurized environment to meet deadlines. Fully conversant with Microsoft software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access. Hold a valid driving licence from the country of origin. Desirable Ideally a further education qualification that includes an understanding of Project/Business Management, MSc/MBA or CEng. Business experience in the Defence Sector Experience of living or working in the Middle East. Minimum of 10 Years in telecommunications Project Management, of which at least 5 have been in a similar role. Membership of a Professional Institution. |

| Job Description : | Reports to; Project Manager Primary Objectives & Functions A key member of the Our Clients Project Management team fully accountable for all design related activities, and managing the associated engineering team, in support of the various elements comprising the programme, throughout all stages of the project lifecycle from design through to implementation, customer acceptance and technical transfer into operational use. Responsible to the Project Director for fulfilling the contractual responsibilities for all engineering aspects as covered by the terms and conditions of the Contract. The technical lead on the Customers Network and focal point for all engineering decisions on the technical strategy for future designs. To deputise for the project Director as requested at meetings and during periods of absence from Saudi Arabia. Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities 1. Design, specification and competitive procurement of Command, Control, Communications & Information Systems (CCIS). Review of subcontractor proposals for design, installation, testing commissioning and acceptance test plans. Supervision of a contractors to ensure compliance of engineering designs. Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities Design and dimensioning of a wide range of communications systems in conjunction with specified sub-contractors. Demonstrable experience with integration of new and additional systems into current communications networks. Expertise in telecommunications systems ranging from: a. Telephony switching b. Computer networks including servers, clients, LAN and WAN c. Digital microwave systems d. Optical transmission systems e. Secure Mobile Radio (TETRA) f. Network Management Systems Maintain design standards of system specifications ensuring they conform to current health and safety and environmental directives. Knowledge of CIDA, change control and design review activities. Produce method statements (Scope of Works) for communication network designs including associated implementation risk assessments. Produce detailed verification and validation testing and commissioning plans. Informal Meetings, Formal Meetings, Correspondence, Presentation and Reports with respect to: Our Client – Senior Management, Project Managers, Engineering and Managed Services staff.
